The Role

We are looking for a 
Safety Training Facilitator
 to join our team in the Saint John or Moncton area to grow and deliver Hercules approved industrial safety training programs throughout New Brunswick.

Principle Responsibilities

The Industrial Training Specialist will be responsible to facilitate training programs for both external and internal customers and to work directly with the local sales team to help build training opportunities. Training programs include Rigging, Overhead Crane, Working at Heights, Forklift Operator, Elevated Work Platform, and Confined Space Entry.

Accountabilities

  • Prepare and deliver professional training programs in accordance with company lesson plans and regulatory requirements
  • Effectively schedule training time, Maintain inventory of training aids and equipment
  • Work directly with local sales team to help grow training opportunities and clientele. May include making cold calls, email connections, site visits with local sales team
  • Preparing quotes for training
  • Completing training records accurately
  • Deliver training programs to the Hercules standards to clients

Required knowledge and training

  • Post secondary education – in health and safety or other related field or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years experience in an adult training/learning role
  • Prior operating overhead crane and rigging experience is considered like an asset
  • Strong communication skills written and spoken (English)
  • French is considered an asset
  • Comfortable training over multiple platforms including in person and virtual
  • Strong computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on PPT
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Must hold a valid drivers license for the province of NB
  • Must have a personal vehicle available for travel within the province
  • Travel outside of NB may be required (all expenses paid by the company)
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
