Our world-class team combines AI, Industrialized Robotics, and construction under one roof to develop the most advanced robotic products for the construction of highly efficient and sustainable buildings.We’re looking for a highly talented and motivated Robotics Technician to join our team and contribute to developing cutting-edge solutions for our core robotic manufacturing technologies.You might be a good fit if you:Have a passion for leading industry-changing solutions with significant social, economic, and environmental impactDesire to play a founding role and reap the benefits as part of a growth-stage startup with significant upsideEnjoy building not only the technology but also high-performing teams and companiesAre committed to continuous learning at the intersection of several industriesWhat You’ll Do:Setup and execute controlled prototype equipment tests; identify, catalog and report findings to Hardware & Software teamsDevelop, evaluate and improve robotic manufacturing systems and processes by working closely with a diverse technical team of software developers, designers, and engineersMaintain and promote a safe and professional environment with a high level of safety awareness and complianceIdentify individual components (both manufactured and purchased) and use them to create sub-assemblies for work cells, stations and other automated equipmentAssemble, fit, align, plumb, wire, drill & anchor, and integrate workstations or systems that may include pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical sensing components, conveyor and feeder systemsRig and safely handle large equipment at our state-of-art robotic facility and also on-site at customer facilitiesTroubleshoot, diagnose, service, and perform required repairs to automation equipmentOperate forklifts, scissor lifts, genie booms, and overhead cranes.Participate in mechanical design reviewsWhat You’ll Need to Succeed:College diploma or University Degree (Robotics, Industrial Automation, Mechanical or Mechatronics)Experience with industrial robot programming, PLCs, and industrial safety systemsProficiency in mechanical assembly and/or wiring of machine componentsWillingness to participate in a variety of technical areas in both hardware and software as needed to solve complex problems and achieve business impactExcellent analytical, problem-solving, communication and organization skillsA positive “can-do” attitude and motivation to solve complex challengesComputer skills: Microsoft Office experience with intermediate skills in Excel and PowerPointThe ability to be on your feet for the majority of the working dayThe ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 poundsThe ability to travel internationally(Preferred) 3 years of industry experience in leading, supervising or managing complex industrial robotics and system integration projects(Preferred) Experience integrating KUKA robotics is a great asset(Preferred) Experience with industrial low-voltage electrical systemsBenefits:Competitive salary: We believe in data-driven, equitable compensation decisions.
