Location: Ottawa, ON (Hybrid)
Compensation: High Commission Only No Cap
Earning Potential: $75,000 - $250,000+ annually (performance-based)

About ARTAARTA is a licensed design-build contractor operating since 2016, delivering residential construction projects across the Ottawa market. We work with end-user homeowners, investors, and developers on renovations, additions, and new-build projects, including custom homes, coach homes, and secondary dwelling units (SDUs).

Typical annual volume:
- 20 renovation projects
- 3-4 new custom homes
- 5-10 coach homes / SDUs

- Small renovation: $5,000 - $8,000
- Typical renovation: $25,000 - $50,000

This role combines high-value residential sales with client ownership through delivery.
You are responsible for guiding clients from first meeting through contract execution and delivery coordination.
You will:
- Lead client meetings and consultations
- Understand client needs, scope, and budget
- Answer technical and construction-related questions
- Coordinate with architects, designers, and project managers
- Close contracts independently or with management support when required
- Maintain the client relationship throughout construction
- Support collection of client payments based on contract milestones
- Design finalization: Architect and company
- Pricing & estimates: Shared responsibility (sales + company)
- Contract signing: Management
Leads are partially provided, and a dedicated lead-generation department is being developed to further support this role.
Commission & Earnings (Very Clear)Commission Structure- 5%-7% of total contract value (when labor, materials, and costs are included), OR
- 20% of construction management fee (when the contract is management-fee-only)
- Renovations: $500 - $10,000 (small projects at the low end; typical projects significantly higher)
- Coach homes / SDUs: $3,500 - $10,000
- Custom homes: $15,000 - $40,000+
- Paid monthly, based on client payments collected to date
- No commission cap
- Repeat clients remain assigned to the same salesperson
- High-ticket residential projects with real budgets
- Clear earning potential of $75K-$250K+
- Commission tied directly to contract value, not hours worked
- Hybrid role with autonomy and ownership
- Company-managed design and final contracts (you focus on clients)
- Fewer deals, higher commissions due to project size
- Exposure to custom homes, coach homes, and full design-build projects
- Limited team size (max 3 hires) = territory protection and faster ramp-up
- 2+ years sales experience
- 2+ years construction-related experience or education
- Either formal education or hands-on experience is acceptable
