DEPARTMENT: Outdoor Garden
POSITION TITLE: Gardener (Markham, Ontario)
TITLE OF IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Owner
Scope
The Gardener is responsible for the general care of our residential property and includes the planting and maintenance of our home flower and vegetable garden, Koi Pond, and orchard. There will be some seasonal planter construction. This position can be seasonal (May to September) or permanent (year round), as you wish.
Qualifications
· Punctuality
· Physical fitness as there is some lifting involved
· Some knowledge or perennials and flowers
· Some pest remedial knowledge
· A can-do attitude around tools and workshop equipment
· Valid driver license
