Position: Resident Caretaker (Full Time, Permanent)Location: Capital Park Residences EPS7581, Victoria, British ColumbiaStart Date: ASAP
Compensation: $60,000-$70,000 annually, comensurate with experience. Caretakers are also provided with discounted rent on a one-bedroom apartment in the Capital Park complex, and cost sharing for private medical insurance.

Job ResponsibilitiesThe Resident Caretaker will coordinate with the Capital Park Property Manager and the Strata Council and Committees in performing their duties. The Resident Caretaker duties include but are not limited to the following:
Coordinate with contractors that require access to the buildings
Purchase and maintain an inventory of necessary supplies
Perform general janitorial and maintenance of common areas and mechanical areas
Provide emergency response after hours during the workweek.
Prepare detailed Incident reports of any accidents, altercations and/or damage to the property and report them to the Property Manager
Demonstrate a good understanding of building systems, i.e. electrical, elevator, hot water, fire panel, safety, mechanical, and irrigation systems, including the enter phone, fob and video security systems.
Schedule and supervise resident's move-ins and outs, as well as the moving of large items, including pre and post move inspections.
Prepare a monthly Caretaker's Report for the Property Manager and Strata Council
Other duties as required from time to time
Assets
Experience working in a residential strata and interacting with owners.
Minimum 3 years of caretaking and/or building maintenance experience
Knowledge of building mechanical systems
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
Computer proficiency and the ability to learn and adapt to new software
Ability to take direction and work well with minimal supervision
Solid general maintenance and small repair capabilities
Willingness to work flexible hours
B.C. Driving License
CPR/First aid certification an asset Overview
