Regulatory analyst / finance accounting

Job Description

They are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst who will be responsible for accounting activities including month-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analysis. The role will also take ownership of lease accounting under IFRS 16, ensuring compliance and accurate reporting. 
The position supports financial reporting, internal controls, and continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function. 
Hybrid work model (3 days in office) 
~ Exposure to process improvement initiatives for 2026 
~ Direct exposure to senior finance leadership 
Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries and analysis of assigned G/L accounts 
~ Prepare account reconciliations and financial analysis for balance sheet accounts 
~ Manage lease accounting under IFRS 16, including coordination with internal and external stakeholders 
~ Assist with review of balance sheet reconciliations prepared by staff 
~ Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data in the accounting system 
~ Support external audit requests and financial reporting requirements 
~ Participate in process improvement initiatives and finance projects 
~ 3+ years Accounting, including month-end reporting
~ Lease accounting experience

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
