This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of patient-centered care, utilizing your skills in assessment, treatment, and health education.</p><p>Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including vital signs, physical examinations, and physiological evaluations to determine individual needs.</li><li>Administer medications and injections accurately while adhering to safety protocols and HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.</li><li>Manage IV infusions, catheterizations, tube feedings, and ventilator support with precision and aseptic technique.</li><li>Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth for accurate medical documentation and medical records management.</li><li>Perform diagnostic evaluations including specimen collection/processing, phlebotomy, and basic medical imaging procedures as required.</li><li>Provide specialized care for patients with complex conditions such as Alzheimer's disease, dementia, infectious diseases, or those requiring hospice or palliative care.</li><li>Support emergency response efforts by managing airway management, acute pain control, trauma care in Level I or Level II trauma centers, and emergency room procedures.</li><li>Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on discharge planning, case management, and post-acute care strategies to optimize recovery outcomes.</li><li>Educate patients and their families on health coaching topics like nutrition, medication management, chronic disease management, and family planning.</li><li>Ensure compliance with all healthcare standards including NCQA standards and infection control protocols while maintaining accurate medical documentation.</li></ul><p>Job Type: Part-time</p><p>Pay: $34.00-$36.00 per hour</p><p>Expected hours: 30 per week</p><p>Work Location: In person</p>
