We mainly deal with patients who require biologics/specialty medications used in the treatment of chronic medical conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, urticaria, ulcerative colitis, and many others.

At Rx Connect Specialty Pharmacy, we provide patient-centric healthcare and assist patients in overcoming the challenges of specialty pharmacy. We utilize innovative strategies to deliver patients access to specialized therapy in a cost-effective, timely and caring manner leading to improved adherence, therapeutic success and overall well-being.

_*PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:*_
* _*MUST be registered with the Ontario College of Pharmacists as a pharmacy technician*_
* Receiving and billing prescriptions in Kroll software.
* Performing technical checks as required.
* Handling and monitoring clinic queries regarding missing medication.
* Managing inventory for the pharmacy and RDL location every month.
* Ordering medication from different portals for the pharmacy and various other locations.
* Placing orders with LPG, SL, and other vendors/wholesalers using the inventory management spreadsheet.
* Managing inventory for Pharmacy and RDL locations.
* Creating workflows for ordering meds from SL logistics.
* Aligning and maintaining the FOC tracker in pharmacy software – receiving and allocating free-of-charge medications.
* Conducting QA audits.
* The Registered Pharmacy Technician is required to renew their College of Pharmacy Registration on an annual basis, and to participate in the Quality Assurance Process on a regular basis, as part of their continuing education.
* The Registered Pharmacy Technician will also be assigned other duties and tasks as required from time to time.



*EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:*
* Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) with the Ontario College of Pharmacists
* Two or more years of related pharmacy experience;
* Proficiency in Kroll;
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel);
* Minimum 1 year of high level pharmacy inventory management experience.
* Organized with the ability to multi-task and maintain accuracy;
* Excellent knowledge of pharmacy operations;
* Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills;
* Ability to work independently and in a team environment;
* Excellent time management skills;
