We are seeking a dedicated and professional Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The successful candidate will provide therapeutic massage services to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and improve overall well-being for clients. Duties
- Conduct personalised massage sessions based on client needs and preferences
- Assess client conditions and discuss treatment plans prior to therapy
- Apply various massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage
- Maintain a clean and hygienic treatment environment in accordance with health regulations
- Keep detailed records of client treatments and progress
- Provide advice on post-treatment care and wellness practices
- Schedule appointments and manage client bookings efficiently
- Uphold professional standards of conduct, confidentiality, and customer service
Skills
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to tailor treatments effectively
- Excellent communication skills to understand client needs and explain procedures clearly
- Ability to create a relaxing environment that promotes client comfort
- Organised with good time management skills to handle appointments smoothly
- Empathy and professionalism when dealing with diverse clients
- Certification in massage therapy recognised by relevant authorities is essential
- Prior experience is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $70.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 30 per week
