Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for a Chiropodist located in Vaughan, ON. The Chiropodist will assess, diagnose, and treat foot and lower limb conditions, while developing individualized care plans to manage patient needs. Responsibilities include providing therapeutic and preventive care, fabricating and prescribing orthotic devices, addressing biomechanical concerns, and managing conditions related to chronic illnesses such as diabetes.
Qualifications
Expertise in Podiatry and Medicine to diagnose and treat foot and lower limb conditions effectively
Knowledge and experience in Biomechanics, focusing on functional assessments and gait analysis
Proficiency in Orthotics, including fabrication and prescription of customized devices
Understanding of Diabetes care and its implications on lower limb health
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for patient interactions
Registration with the relevant regulatory body for Chiropody in the region
Ability to work independently with professionalism and a strong attention to detail
