You may be contacted by phone by recruitment personnel based in either Canada or New York.Work Shift:Job Description:Job Responsibilities:Establish long term relationships with dealers, integrators, end users and other relevant parties in the sales channelManage existing channel partners, add or remove dealers as required to grow sales and minimize channel conflictDevelop strategic growth plans for specified products and geographic territoriesActively seek opportunities to add value to Gorbel®’s sales channel partnersConduct sales calls/meetings with end users and dealers by promoting and demonstrating Gorbel®’s productsProvide technical training and sales support to the dealers (product, process, software tools)Become a subject matter expert when it comes to finding the best solutions for the end user applicationsCoordinate and assist dealers to achieve sales performance and manage the requirements of marketing programsSuggest methods and programs to increase sales across product categoriesMonitor and follow up opportunities to develop leads, close sales and capture market shareBecome familiar with the territory, the competitors, and communicate any changes in the marketplaceAssist in developing and executing plans to counter competitive pressuresManage a multi-province territory in Canada with regular travel throughout. Occasional travel in the USA.Act as a liaison between the field and the organizationProactively seeking to add value by suggesting and implementing business improvementsParticipates in industry trade shows as a company representativeRequired Qualifications:Ability to balance and advance customer and organizational needsExcellent data analytical skills with a proficiency to summarize and communicate findingsAbility to assess improvement opportunities and develop strategies to implement improvementsExcellent communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skillsDemonstrate personal leadership and coaching skills at all timesAbility to give and receive feedback in a constructive manner (low ego)Must have a high mechanical – technical aptitude and/or experienceProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite productsPersonal characteristics are equally important to experience and knowledge.
