About the Role:

We are looking for a versatile, driven to succeed, positive tradesperson to join our team in the role of HVAC & Refrigeration Technician.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Measure and lay out reference points for installation.
  • Measure, cut and connect refrigeration piping using welding and brazing equipment, as per TSSA standards.
  • Complete formal start-up reports.
  • Perform routine maintenance or servicing on all types of HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
  • Install, troubleshoot, repair and overhaul entire heating, ventilation, air handling, refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
  • Repair, replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, and heat pump systems.
  • Read and Interpret gas codes.
  • Perform any trade-related tasks, as required.

Qualifications:

  • This is a must: Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic – 313A or 313D Journeyperson Category. If you have a 313D licence, you must be willing to become an apprentice within the 313A category.
  • Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) certificate
  • Any gas fitter certificate is considered an asset.
  • Possess valid Class G driver's licence and clean driving abstract.
  • May be subject to provide a clean criminal record check.

Working Conditions:

  • Physically demanding role
  • Must be able to work full time - Monday to Friday
  • May be required to work sparingly out of town during the workweek
  • Must participate in the on-call rotation.
  • Must provide own steel-toe boots and personal hand tools.

Pay: $55.00-$60.00 per hour
