Receiver / Materials Handler
Filtervac International Inc. requires an experienced, knowledgeable, motivated and career-minded employee to ensure the seamless processing of incoming materials.
Job Duties
- Unloading and loading courier drivers and customer vehicles.
- Cleaning and organizing the exterior yard.
- Verify counts to customer orders, transfers and packing lists and notify the Manager
- lifting 50-75 lbs at a time.
- Offloading incoming materials from customer or supplier trucks using forklifts and/or overhead cranes.
- Working knowledge of receiving, quality control and material handling.
- Receive, sort and track items for processing.
- Label, distribute to proper locations.
- Maintain inventory levels.
- Keep parts shelves organized.
- Follow Company policies and procedures.
- Inventory control – cycle count.
Requirements
- Must be comfortable working with minimum supervision.
- Able to balance multiple priorities.
- Providing service to others and working with co-workers in a friendly environment.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures, standards, and regulations
- Communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Self-motivated and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Steel toed shoes is mandatory.
- Forklift skills.
Working Conditions
- Lifting or moving up to 50 lbs may be required.
- This position may be exposed to elements such as noise, dust, odours, fumes and oils.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
