Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) – Full-Time/Part-Time.Location: Calgary, Alberta.
Work Setting: In-person (No remote work).

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for dental examinations and assist the dentist during procedures and treatments.
- Sterilize, organize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
- Prepare dental materials, including fillings, compounds, and impression materials.
- Take and develop dental X-rays in accordance with safety standards.
- Polish teeth and clinical crowns; apply fluoride and dental sealants.
- Take preliminary impressions for diagnostic casts and assist in treatment planning.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
- Perform clerical and administrative tasks such as:
- Scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
- Preparing invoices and processing payments.
- Recording dental procedures performed.
- Ordering dental and office supplies.
- Perform intra-oral duties as permitted, which may include:
- Removing sutures and taking vital signs.
- Applying topical anesthetics, desensitizing, and anti-cariogenic agents.
- Performing coronal whitening.
- Fabricating, placing, and removing temporary crowns and restorations.
- Applying and removing rubber dams.
- Conducting pulp vitality testing and periodontal screening and recording.
Qualifications:
- Certified Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) with current provincial licensing.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Proficiency in dental software is an asset.
