Quality Assurance Specialist
Job Description
Pacific Programming and Tech Inc., a computer software development, is currently looking for an experienced QA Specialist in the field of manual and automated testing for our Vancouver-office location. We are currently offering a unique hybrid-work environment which includes a combined schedule of remote work-from-home days and in-office days for collaborative work.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Implementation of test plans, test cases and documentation, completion of operating instructions for product testing at an enterprise level.
- Ensure functionality meets requirements.
- Identify and write up bugs using clear reproduction steps.
- Run test suites against new functionality.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure overall product quality and reliability.
- Work closely with the development team.
- Support our products against reported problems in an appropriate way.
- Escalate issues to team leads
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience working with Azure DevOps and Playwright.
- Experience designing and writing test cases.
- 3+ years in a Quality Assurance role is ideal.
- Experience working in a continuous integration and development environment.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Process orientated mindset
Good to Have
- Experience working with API tests.
- Database/SQL knowledge.
- Experience in code/scripting language such as Python, Javascript
- Experience with systems that process large data
