Using the CET Designer platform, test and debug software solutions from a user centric perspective. Gather, understand and document requirements for highly configurable and interconnected office furniture products, enabling a fluid work process for users. Work with multiple teams, including developers and users to resolve issues and maintain high quality products. Develop and possess a thorough understanding of all relevant furniture product lines to ensure that the parametric tools follow user standards and technical design.

What does this role do?

  • Develop a thorough understanding of current, ongoing and upcoming furniture product lines in CET.
  • Test and debug sophisticated products and tools at various stages of development, including functional testing, acceptance testing and regression testing.
  • Review and document user and application requirements of products and tools. Ensure integrity of project documentation at all stages of development.
  • Create and maintain issues using the Jira project management software.
  • Work with teams in the analysis, design, development, implementation, and ongoing support of the required systems.
  • Participate and contribute to product ideation with respect to user experiences.

What is required for this role?


  • Experience in QA roles and industry standard testing methods, including unit, integration, system and UAT testing.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively on diverse problems.
  • Ability to quickly gather requirements, explore multiple approaches and suggest solutions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on user experience.
  • Strong attention to detail, communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to review and document technical guides into clear and concise summaries.
  • Ability to speak to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with CET Designer is desirable.
  • Experience with JIRA issue tracking and creation is desirable.
  • Experience in agile development processes such as SCRUM or Kanban is desirable.
  • Experience specifying office furniture layouts is desirable.
