Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Purchasing Supervisor or Manager with an automotive tier 2, tier 1 or OEM manufacturing company
- Experience with purchasing raw materials for automotive manufacturing production
- Overseeing an annual spend of $120,000,000/year
- Experience overseeing or managing buyers
Responsibilities
- Oversee procurement of materials, supplies, and services essential to operations
- Negotiate supplier contracts and manage key relationships
- Ensure on‑time supplier delivery and strive for zero defects
- Lead and develop a 3‑person purchasing team, driving continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with QMS (IATF16949), Health & Safety (ISO45001), EMS (ISO14001), and security requirements
- Manage budgets, business plan activities, and support APQP/ECR initiatives
- Promote innovation and continuous improvement across purchasing functions
