<p>We are hiring a <strong>Public Cloud Project Manager</strong>. This role involves customer relationship management and advocacy for Canonical's technical assets, ideal for a technologist passionate about Linux and Project Management. You will manage multiple projects, shape Statements of Work, and collaborate with stakeholders from engineering to senior executives.</p>
<p>Periodic international travel is required, with location based remotely in the Americas.</p>
<h3>Responsibilities include:</h3>
<ol>
<li>Ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within scope, and budget.</li>
<li>Identifying and mitigating technical and project risks.</li>
<li>Maintaining strong customer focus and stakeholder engagement.</li>
<li>Conducting status meetings and reviews.</li>
<li>Managing third-party deliverables and cross-organizational requests.</li>
<li>Advocating Canonical’s technologies to customers.</li>
</ol>
<h3>Qualifications:</h3>
<ol>
<li>Proven experience in IT Cloud project management, software development, or related roles.</li>
<li>Deep understanding of Linux, open source, and public cloud.</li>
<li>Software engineering experience.</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills in English.</li>
<li>Experience managing remote, cross-cultural teams.</li>
<li>Strong negotiation and influencing skills.</li>
<li>Bachelor’s in a STEM field.</li>
<li>Project Management Certification (PMP or equivalent).</li>
<li>Agile certification (Scrum Master or equivalent).</li>
<li>Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.</li>
