Overview
Hillside Centre is a 47-bed tertiary mental health facility in Kamloops, BC, serving adults and older adults with complex psychiatric needs across Interior Health. This locum opportunity offers a diverse, regional scope of practice within an inter-professional team. The role involves comprehensive geriatric psychiatric care, including managing severe neurocognitive disorders, using trauma-informed and palliative approaches, and supporting transitions in care. The successful candidate will participate in tertiary utilization committee meetings every week. There are opportunities for leadership, teaching, research, and integration with acute, community, or long-term care settings.
