Title: Project Manager / Leader - Unified Communications & SD-WAN Migration
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybird)
Pay Rate: CAD$90/Hr - CAD$100/Hr
Project Overview
A large-scale infrastructure modernization initiative focused on transforming enterprise communication and collaboration services. The program includes migrating legacy MPLS networks to SD-WAN to modernize secure connectivity across approximately 1,600 geographically distributed sites. The initiative supports digital workplace transformation, centralized service models, and the retirement of legacy platforms.
Role Overview
Provide senior-level project/program management leadership across the full lifecycle of complex infrastructure initiatives impacting people, processes, and technology. Lead planning, coordination, implementation, and migration of enterprise network and communication services.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead planning and execution of enterprise network service migrations (including SD-WAN and broadband services).
- Coordinate with internal technical teams, vendors, and multiple stakeholder groups to define requirements and build migration plans.
- Oversee introduction, transition, and enhancement of network services.
- Develop project charters, integrated project plans, schedules, and governance models.
- Manage risks, issues, dependencies, budgets, and reporting.
- Prepare executive briefings and provide regular program status updates.
- Drive stakeholder engagement and support across diverse client groups.
- Ensure successful migration of large-scale distributed site networks.
Required Experience & Skills
Service Implementation & Migration
- Strong experience in I&IT service design, modernization, and telecommunications infrastructure migration.
- Proven ability to lead large-scale voice, network, SD-WAN, and broadband migrations.
- Knowledge of migration methodologies, vendor coordination, and interdependencies.
Enterprise Project Management
- Extensive experience managing complex enterprise technology transformation projects.
- Expertise in project lifecycle management, financial oversight, risk management, and governance.
- Experience developing executive-level briefing materials.
Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Strong stakeholder engagement and vendor management experience.
- Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to executive audiences.
- Demonstrated political acuity and risk advisory capabilities.
