What will you do:

As a Project Manager you will provide direction and supervision of Building Automation projects to ensure successful delivery. You will oversee project status, and work with other project managers. Your project management skills along with your building automation (BAU) and building automation systems (BAS) technology knowledge/experience, and financial acumen will be critical to your success in this role

Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
Manage and coordinate multiple projects according to the company's established project management methodologies and tools
Develop project execution plan, detailed project schedules, incorporating critical timelines from construction requirements including work breakdown, structure, work package, and resource planning to achieve the defined milestones
Direct project technical teams through various stages including planning, estimating, designing, installation, start-up, commissioning, turnover and warranty
Profitably manage project portfolio

What will you need to succeed:

4+ years' experience in Building Automation (BAU) and Building Automation Systems (BAS) technology
Diploma / Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical work experience
Proven experience in Project Management skills is a big advantage but also open to Field Technician's with Building Automation experience looking to transition into a PM role
Good knowledge of building systems, mechanical systems and relevant standards
Proven diagnostic skills, able to systematically identify and resolve technical problems
Strong problem solving, analytical and quality-driven and decision-making abilities
Self-starter with strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work under time constraints and is able to adapt to change easily
Proficient in use of MS Office, MS Outlook, MS Visio, and MS Project
Valid drivers license is essential

Assets:

Project Management Professional (PMP) designation highly preferred but not mandatory
Prior Experience as a Field Technician in the Building Automation Domain is highly desirable

Location: The individual will be focused on projects across the South Western Ontario region and has the flexibility to based anywhere in Southern Ontario as long as they are open to travel to the project sites as required.

Compensation: Salary is commensurate with experience, and ranges between $76,000 CAD - $ 105,000 CAD, excluding bonus and benefits. In addition to base salary, this role includes eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus of 10% of the base salary, based on Company performance metrics.
