Position Overview



We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support the planning, execution, and close-out of civil construction projects. This role is critical to ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. The successful candidate will act as a key liaison between field teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and the project management group.


Key Responsibilities



  • Support Project Managers with day-to-day coordination of civil construction projects
  • Assist with project planning, scheduling, and tracking of milestones
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutes
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal resources
  • Track material deliveries, equipment, and manpower requirements
  • Monitor project costs and assist with budget tracking and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and project specifications
  • Support field teams with administrative and logistical requirements
  • Participate in project meetings and assist with progress reporting
  • Assist with project close-out documentation and turnover packages


Qualifications & Experience



  • Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
  • 25 years of experience in a project coordination or administrative role within civil construction
  • Experience with earthworks, underground utilities, roadworks, or land development is an asset
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); scheduling or project management software is an asset
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
