Flynn Canada Ltd is hiring a Project Coordinator. This position will be based out of our Halifax location, reporting to the Roofing Operations Manager.

A Day in the Life:

• Work closely with Project Managers coordinating project schedules, materials, and equipment.


• Organize and coordinate submittals.


• Review and monitor schedules and quality control.


• Review all contracts and accepted quotations.


• Write up purchase orders.


• Preparing and following-up on quotations and tenders.


• Prepare material order sheets and review quantity takeoffs.


• Attend team meetings.


• Assist production with preparing prices.


• Communicate frequently with the Roofing team to obtain and share knowledge and information.

What We Are Seeking:

• Recent graduate of a Construction or Engineering & Technologies program or a related educational field, or have a minimum of 1 year work experience in a construction environment (roofing experience preferred but not required).


• Proficiency in MS office package, including MS Project.


• Computer aptitude


• Basic estimating/mathematical skills.


• Good communication (verbal & written).


• Highly motivated with strong organizational, analytical, problem solving and decision-making abilities.


• Ability to multitask and work in a team environment.Strong relationship building and negotiation skills.


• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.


• Strong blueprint reading skills.


• A career-minded individual with a focus on continuous growth and development.
