Job Description


The Project Administrator position is an opportunity to build project coordination skills and gain experience in a professional consulting environment.

This developmental role will support a variety of projects at ERM, with a focus on mine closure, reconciliation, and social performance, including community engagement. The role provides hands-on opportunities to develop skills in project management and budget tracking, meeting planning, note taking, desktop research, and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of reports and project documentation
  • Take notes during project meetings and share them with team members to support timely completion of tasks
  • Work with individuals across ERM to gather information required for projects
  • Update and maintain project files as requested
  • Conduct research to support project needs
  • Assist with organizing community engagement activities

Requirements

  • Ability to take accurate notes and compile information with strong attention to detail
  • Digital literacy skills, with comfort using and learning new digital technologies
  • Interest in learning how to prepare written documents such as presentations and reports
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Interest in mine reclamation and environmental management
  • Comfortable asking questions and seeking information when clarification is needed
  • Willingness to learn and participate in training opportunities
  • Ability to commit to a full-time work schedule with strong attendance

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Minimum of one (1) year of work experience or completion of a one-year diploma program in a relevant field
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Interest in project administration, project management, and mine reconciliation
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong willingness to learn and actively participate in professional development opportunities
  • Demonstrated reliability, engagement, and commitment
