(Title TBD) Working title – Manager, Cyber Security Strategic Execution
Toronto, ON (2 onsite, 3 offsite)
Our client in the public sector is looking for a full-time employee to join the Office of the CISO in the capacity of a Cyber Security + Project Management + Analytics + Service Delivery Consultant. *I am reposting this and emphasizing this is Program/Project Management first and the subject matter is Cyber Security with a focus on delivery and client support through KPI/KRI analytics. If you are a hard core Cyber Security expert, this is NOT for you.
Here’s the high level role description:
You will provide senior level strategic and operational guidance to the executive team including the CISO in the execution and maintenance of an organizational wide cyber program.
As well as using your experience to lead, guide and manage the delivery of cyber initiatives through the design, integration and implementation of cyber solutions that support the organization and the CISO’s strategic objectives.
And to monitor and adjust said initiatives you’ll lead the division’s data analytics through the design and implementation of cyber dashboards.
Lastly, in your senior role you will administer the unit’s financial and administrative responsibilities including the operating budget process, monitoring spending and revenues and directing the unit’s cyber information technology program services, communications, human resources planning and decisions, quality assurance and staff training.
What I am looking for:
I’ll be interested in resumes that demonstrate 10+ years of experience in IT/IS/Cyber Security experience, 3+ years of formal team/people management, 5+ years of project management and experience with analytics/dashboards and noticeable talk of KPI/KRI’s.
This is a Managerial level position reporting to the Director. The base salary ‘should’ be around $170K + 18 days PTO + amazing benefits/pension. Note – no bonus is applicable.
