The starting rate for this position is $26.40 per hour, with potential progression up to $33.01 after training. Pay may vary depending on factors like knowledge, skills, education, experience, and location.

General Description

As a Production Technician, you will gain hands-on experience producing high-quality products in one of Goodyear's manufacturing plants. Responsibilities Will Include, But Not Be Limited To

  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Follow standard work procedures and safety standards
  • Operate tire manufacturing (heavy industrial) equipment and related machinery
  • Meet quality expectations for all output
  • Perform manual tasks in varying temperatures, including lifting, climbing, standing, squatting, bending, and working at heights
  • Adhere to attendance policies
  • Communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Follow all instructions accurately

Basic Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship
  • Ability to lift heavy materials, climb, stand, squat, bend, and work at heights, with or without accommodations
  • Ability to complete all pre-employment requirements
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime if needed
  • Basic computer skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Production Technician in manufacturing
  • Additional education or certifications in manufacturing
  • Experience with industry safety standards
