Production Support Engineer (DevOps)

Job Description

Overview

We are looking for a Senior DevOps / Platform Support Engineer to support enterprise DevOps platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure in a large-scale production environment.

This role involves working closely with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to ensure platform stability, troubleshoot pipeline issues, and support containerized and cloud-based applications.

This is a hands-on role focused on platform support, automation, monitoring, and DevOps tooling, rather than pure development.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for DevOps platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot build, deployment, and environment issues across multiple environments
  • Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.)
  • Work with cloud platforms such as AWS / Azure / GCP
  • Support Infrastructure as Code using Terraform / Ansible / ARM / CloudFormation
  • Monitor system health, logs, and performance using monitoring tools
  • Work with development teams to resolve deployment and runtime issues
  • Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and production support
  • Ensure reliability, availability, and performance of applications and platforms

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of DevOps / Platform / SRE / Infrastructure experience
  • Strong experience with Kubernetes and containers
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.)
  • Experience with Terraform or other IaC tools
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Experience with Linux / scripting / automation
  • Experience with monitoring / logging tools
  • Experience supporting production environments
  • Strong troubleshooting skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience in banking / financial / enterprise environments
  • Experience with OpenShift
  • Experience with Python / Bash / PowerShell
  • Experience with ServiceNow / incident management
  • Experience supporting middleware / platform / DevOps environments
