Press Tab to Move to Skip to Content Link The Production Supervisor is responsible for ensuring efficient and safe practices by each member of the production team. Adheres to the plant schedule and ensures that quality standards are properly acknowledged and effectively executed by every member of production. Shift: Sunday – Wednesday 7:30pm to 6am, 4×10.5hr days Responsibilities Supervises each member of the production team, ensuring they practice proper quality and safety standards every day. Manage labor and operations within the OPEX budget.

Ensures the equipment being used for production is operating safely and in appropriate working order. Analyzes data to determine appropriate corrective action response for MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures), Minor Stops, and establish the root-cause analysis. Staffs, trains, evaluates and develops production team members. Manages line efficiencies, key performance indicators, and production downtime.

Monitors the production process, making periodic checks and adjustments to the equipment or practices according to standard operating procedures. Verifies the readiness of the production line at start-up; oversees shift and/or product line changeovers. Adjusts product schedules to accommodate business needs. Manages overall packaging and product quality to ensure required standards and specifications are achieved.

Maintains a regular presence on the production floor; oversees the production line and its employees. Partners with maintenance, quality, warehouse, and logistics departments to achieve KBI goals. Leads the improvement effort in production to achieve set goals for increased engagement with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Maintains daily production reports with SAP, including downtime.

Work on Autonomous Maintenance (TPM) Works with Production Manager to identify and implement efficiency and yield improvements. Completes the Defective Material Returns (DMR) for supervisors to ensure customer credits are processed appropriately. Qualifications Minimum 4 years work experience required. Bachelor’s Degree or Technical Certification preferred. 2 years’ experiences in manufacturing industry required.

Beverage or consumer goods preferred. Prior experience supervising or managing employees in an operations environment. Ability to give and receive constructive feedback. Strong leadership, coaching and development skills.

Demonstrated ability to work well team members. Demonstrates a strong understanding of LEAN principles, including Value Stream Mapping, Continuous Improvement Process, Kaizen, TPM, Six-Sigma and Communication Tools preferred. Working knowledge of LEAN tools and methodologies such as 5S, RCA (Root Cause Analysis), the 5-Why’s, Fish-Bone Diagram, and Kaizen preferred. Excellent planning and organizational skills.

Strong computer application skills, including knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP. Capable of creating, maintaining, and analyzing data in spreadsheets, reports, and charts. Forklift certification is a plus. About Us Coke Canada Bottling is Canada’s premier bottling company.
