Our services help <br>seniors stay safe, connected, and live as independently as possible.<br><br>Job Summary:<br><br>Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer/Privacy Officer, the Privacy and Security Compliance <br>Analyst plays a key role in supporting the organization's privacy, compliance, cyber security and ITrelated governance programs and is responsible for fostering a culture of compliance and privacy <br>across the organization.<br><br>The Analyst provides support in the areas of data privacy, vendor and contract management and <br>compliance, cyber security, IT change management, privacy and security audit preparation, and <br>staff training. The role also supports administrative and project coordination initiatives, particularly <br>in information technology, cyber security, risk management, and emergency preparedness. <br><br>What You Will Do:<br><br>Privacy and Security Compliance:<ul><li>Perform regular review and update of organizational privacy and security policies and procedures and recommend improvements.</li><li>Respond to inquiries regarding privacy and security compliance.</li><li>Support the design and implementation of privacy and security training.</li><li>Support the development of a privacy and security compliance dashboard.</li><li>Assist with conducting internal and external privacy and cyber security audits and privacy and risk impact assessments.</li><li>Assist with the investigation of privacy incidents, documentation of findings, and follow-up.</li><li>Monitor regulatory updates, ensuring timely integration into organizational practices.</li><li>Assist and support ongoing records management, program planning and implementation.</li><li>Coordinate annual and as needed privacy training and monitor compliance requirements.</li></ul><br>Information & Systems Management:<ul><li>Support systems inventory, onboarding, and access record management.</li><li>Facilitate IT-related change management forms and processes.</li><li>Support the auditing of electronic systems, including access to systems holding data related to clients, staff, volunteers, and vendors.</li></ul>
<br>Vendor and Contract Management and Compliance:<ul><li>Support contract reviews, renewals, and documentation.</li><li>Assist with drafting and review of vendor agreements and service level agreements (SLAs).</li><li>Evaluate third-party contracts and make recommendations.</li></ul>
<br>Risk Management and Emergency Preparedness:<ul><li>Organize and facilitate annual tabletop exercises.</li><li>Support the development, review, and training for the Emergency and Pandemic Plan, and the IT Business Continuity Plan.</li><li>Coordinate distribution and maintenance of emergency info packages.</li></ul>
<br>Program & Project Support:<ul><li>Supervise assigned staff, students and volunteers.</li><li>Support IT and administrative project coordination initiatives, and other departments as needed.</li><li>Identify risks and propose solutions to strengthen compliance and mitigate vulnerabilities.</li><li>Prepare reports, presentations, and materials for committees, audits, and leadership teams.</li></ul>
<br>What You Will Bring:<ul><li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent educational and practical experience in a healthcare organization.</li><li>1+ years of experience in project coordination, data governance, or privacy compliance.</li><li>Knowledge of privacy legislation (PHIPA, PIPEDA) is an asset.</li><li>Excellent analytical, communication, problem-solving and documentation skills.</li><li>Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and in accordance with privacy legislation.</li><li>Skilled in project coordination and cross-functional collaboration.</li><li>Experience delivering training and facilitating exercises.</li><li>Keen attention to detail, and strong aptitude for accuracy and quality-oriented work.</li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to influence organizational culture.</li><li>Demonstrated experience using MS Office products such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint.</li><li>Basic computer and mobile phone literacy (e.g., Microsoft OS and Office, iPhone or Android OS).</li><li>Proficiency in the use of databases and experience with data analysis.</li></ul>
