The Position:

The President will report to the shareholders and will be responsible for creating the vision and strategic business plans for the company with the goal of giving shareholders an optimal return on their investment. He/she will direct a senior management team in setting and achieving business goals and has overall responsibility for all activities associated with the efficient, safe and cost-effective completion of customers’ projects. The successful candidate for this role will possess excellent communication skills, superior knowledge of business functions (manufacturing in particular), familiarity with ERP systems, exceptional budgeting and finance skills, and strong leadership qualities. Experience in balancing the sales and operational parts of a business to achieve success is essential.

Functional Responsibilities


· Maintain and continue to build the company’s strong culture of employee support and well being

· Develop business strategies that will ensure the sustainability of the company.

· Create and implement plans to achieve short-term and long-term goals for all areas.

· Communicate business objectives to all team members and ensure everyone understands how they will contribute to the company’s success.


· Oversee daily operations to ensure that all goals are achieved.

· Sustain and grow the company’s brand equity.

· Identify opportunities for new business relationships, new products and new ways of doing business.


Education

· An undergraduate degree in a business or a financial discipline.

Core Competencies

· At least 10 years experience in a manufacturing management position (Operations, Finance, Sales & Marketing).

· Demonstrated leadership including the ability to motivate and mentor staff, delegate responsibility, and inspire team spirit.


· Capable of developing a team through organizational growth and being a champion of change and transformation in a complex environment.

· Strong customer relationship-building and negotiating skills.

· Broad financial management experience.

· Proven commitment to health and safety initiatives.


· Strong skills in identifying and implementing organizational efficiencies.

· Ability to make tough, timely operational and financial decisions.

· Contract management experience with an in-depth understanding of contract requirements.
