Precast Plant Worker

BOYD BROS IS HIRING Positions will be Mon-Fri, daytime with NO nights and NO weekends and all holidays observed. Full-time and Part-time positions available. Candidate must be on time, everyday and willing stay until the day’s work is complete. Duties will include pouring concrete, tying rebar cages, cleaning forms, preparing forms for pouring, assembling products and building products to certain specifications. Forklift experience is essential as a good portion of the position will require yard work (moving & stacking products, loading & offloading trucks etc…). The ideal candidate will be capable of performing typical maintenance and repairs on vehicles and equipment in the shop (forklifts etc). Candidates must be able to follow diagrams, written and verbal instruction and take direction.

Previous experience working on a farm or experience with concrete and/or overhead cranes will be considered strong assets but are not required. General carpentry or welding skills will also be considered as assets. Reliable transportation is required as the shop is not located on a bus route.
