We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pest Control Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and managing pest issues in residential properties. You will utilize various techniques and tools to ensure effective pest control solutions while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work independently.
Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest infestations and potential entry points.
- Apply appropriate pest control treatments using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Educate clients on pest prevention strategies and the importance of maintaining a pest-free environment.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, including treatment details and customer interactions.
- Collaborate with team members to develop customized pest management plans for clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and new pest control products or methods.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all pest control operations.
Qualifications
- Experience with hand tools and power tools is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on sales ability to promote services effectively is optional.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to undergo necessary training and certifications related to pest control practices.
- Licensed is preferred but not required
