Location: Oakville, ON.<br>Schedule: Sunday to Thursday, 8:00 PM - 11:00 PM.<br>Start Date: February 1st.<br>Hourly Rate: $17.60 per hour.<br><br>
Job Summary<br><br>
We are currently seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Evening Cleaner to maintain a professional office environment in Oakville. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, follows cleaning procedures carefully, and can work independently during evening hours.<br><br>
Due to the nature of this site, successful candidates must be able to pass a criminal background check and a credit check as a condition of employment.<br><br>
Responsibilities:<br><br>Entrance / Lobby:<ul><li>Sweep and mop floors.</li><li>Vacuum carpeted areas.</li><li>Spot clean entrance doors, window glass, and walls as needed.</li><li>Wipe down all surfaces.</li><li>Clean outdoor entrance mat (weekly).</li><li>Remove garbage and recycling; reline bins.</li></ul>
<br>Offices (Multiple - Lower & Upper Levels):<ul><li>Dust ledges, cabinets, blinds, and display shelves.</li><li>Wipe down desks, desk accessories, and chairs.</li><li>Clean windowsills (monthly).</li><li>Sweep and mop hard floors.</li><li>Vacuum carpeted areas.</li><li>Sanitize doorknobs and light switches.</li><li>Remove garbage and recycling; reline bins.</li></ul>
<br>Open Workspaces / Fish Bowl Areas:<ul><li>Wipe down desks, desk accessories, and chairs.</li><li>Vacuum carpeted areas.</li><li>Sweep and mop hard floors.</li><li>Spot clean glass, windows, and walls.</li><li>Dust TV screens.</li><li>Sanitize high-touch points.</li><li>Remove garbage and recycling.</li></ul>
<br>Washrooms:<ul><li>Clean and sanitize sinks and toilets.</li><li>Polish mirrors and chrome fixtures.</li><li>Wipe down paper towel dispensers and stall partitions.</li><li>Sanitize doorknobs and light switches.</li><li>Sweep and mop floors.</li><li>Replenish soap, toilet paper, and paper towels (supplies provided).</li><li>Remove garbage and recycling.</li></ul>
<br>Kitchenettes:<ul><li>Clean and sanitize counters and sinks.</li><li>Clean inside and outside of microwaves.</li><li>Wipe exterior of refrigerators.</li><li>Wipe tables, chairs, and cabinet fronts/sides.</li><li>Sweep and mop floors.</li><li>Wash, dry, and put away dishes.</li><li>Clean interior of dishwasher and run cleaning cycle (weekly).</li><li>Remove garbage and recycling.</li></ul>
<br>Boardrooms:<ul><li>Dust ledges, cabinets, desks, desk accessories, and chairs.</li><li>Clean windowsills (monthly).</li><li>Spot clean windows.</li><li>Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.</li><li>Sanitize doorknobs and light switches.</li><li>Remove garbage and recycling.</li></ul>
<br>Stairwells:<ul><li>Sweep and mop stairs.</li><li>Wipe down handrails.</li><li>Dust ledges, corners, and windowsills.</li></ul>
<br>Requirements:<ul><li>Ability to work independently and follow detailed cleaning checklists.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and time management.</li><li>Reliable attendance and punctuality.</li><li>Ability to pass a criminal background check and credit check.</li><li>Previous commercial cleaning experience is an asset but not required.</li></ul>
