<p>Position: Dietary Aide</p><p>Type: Part-time</p><p>Shouldice Hospital in Thornhill, the leader in hernia repairs, is looking for a part-time permanent Dietary Aide to provide patient-centred care with exceptional customer service.</p><p>Interested individuals who possess the skills listed below are encouraged to apply.</p><p>Position Purpose</p><p>This part-time position is responsible for daily assigned tasks within the Dietary Department. This position is days and weekends.</p><p>Responsibilities</p><p>· Serving patient dinners and snack</p><p>· Setting and resetting tables</p><p>· Maintaining a clean and safe environment following Public Health standards</p><p>· Customer service</p><p>· Other duties as assigned</p><p>Qualifications</p><p>· Ability to lift up to 25 pounds</p><p>· Ability to be on your feet for up to 4 hours at a time</p><p>· Ability to work flexible hours</p><p>· Knowledge of chemicals</p><p>· Knowledge of WHMIS</p><p>· Knowledge of Public Health standards</p><p>· Strong command of the English language</p><p>· Customer service, as well as patient-centred experience</p><ul><li>Current Food Handling Certificate</li></ul><p>Job Types: Part-time, Permanent</p><p>Benefits:</p><ul><li>Discounted or free food</li><li>On-site parking</li></ul><p>Experience:</p><ul><li>Dietary Aide: 1 year (required)</li></ul><p>Licence/Certification:</p><ul><li>Food Handling Certificate (required)</li></ul><p>Work Location: In person</p>
