Role Summary
The Parking Supervisor is the on-shift leader responsible for maintaining full control of the curb and ramp operations. This role ensures safe, calm, and efficient valet flow, protects guest experience during high-volume and high-visibility periods, and provides direct leadership to valet attendants on shift. The Parking Supervisor acts as the first point of escalation for operational, safety, or guest-related issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain continuous control of vehicle intake, staging, and retrieval flow
- Make real-time decisions to manage congestion, pacing, and ramp safety
- Supervise and direct valet attendants, assigning positions and rotations
- Enforce service standards, professional conduct, and operational discipline
- Act as first-level escalation for guest concerns and de-escalate situations calmly
- Prioritize hotel guests, VIPs, residents, and time-sensitive departures
- Enforce safety standards and adjust operations based on weather or risk conditions
- Take immediate control of incidents and elevate to Operations as required
- Conduct pre-shift readiness checks and briefings
- Ensure proper documentation and shift handover reporting
Requirements
- Strong leadership experience in valet, hospitality, or high-volume operations
- Ability to stay calm, decisive, and authoritative under pressure
- Excellent judgment, communication, and situational awareness
- High standards for safety, service quality, and professionalism
- Hands‑on, accountable leadership style
- Available to work Saturdays, Sundays, and stat holidays with typical shift times of 10:00 AM-8:00 PM
