Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role for an Optometrist at our clinic in Vaughan, ON. The Optometrist will conduct comprehensive eye exams, diagnose and manage eye conditions, and provide personalized recommendations for corrective wear, including glasses and contact lenses. Additional responsibilities include patient education on eye health, collaboration with supporting staff, and ensuring each patient receives outstanding care and service.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in performing comprehensive eye examinations and diagnosing eye-related health issues
• Experience with recommending and fitting prescription glasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient education and consultation
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and maintain a patient-focused approach
• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school
• Licensed and registered with an optometry licensing board in Ontario
• Prior experience in an optometry practice or clinic setting is an asset
