Flexible Schedule: Recognizing the importance of work-life balance, we offer flexible hours. Join us for shifts on Saturdays (11 AM – 4 PM), Sundays (11 AM – 4 PM), and Thursdays (2 PM – 6 PM). We handle pre-calls, referrals, and payments, allowing our doctors to focus more on patient care and less on administrative tasks. Your Role: As a valued team member, you’ll have the privilege of: Performing general and specific eye examinations.
Completing patient files and optical prescriptions. Handling billing for covered patients under OHIP. Advising staff on private fees. Engaging in daily preparation meetings.
Following up with professionals or patients as needed. Validating vision correction options made by other team members. Comprehensive Responsibilities: Perform eye examinations beyond the norm. Prescribe and fit corrective lenses tailored to individual patient needs. Offer expert guidance on eye health, vision correction, and stylish eyewear choices.
Conduct specialized tests like glaucoma screenings and color vision assessments. Maintain meticulous patient records, ensuring nothing is overlooked. Requirements: To be part of our team, you should possess: A Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited program. A valid optometry license in Ontario, Canada. Exceptional clinical skills for comprehensive eye care. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
