By working at The Care Company, you will be part of a growing company helping individuals live well in their homesThe Care Company is looking for an awesome, self-driven Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse (RN or RPN) to assist us with home care clients in Brampton.ShiftsDays, evenings and overnight shifts available.Someone who can commit to tan on-going, consistent, weekly schedule.Duties and Responsibilities:Adhere to providing personal care and help clients with their ADLs (hygiene assistance, bathing, and medications administration) that is within the scope of practice for a Registered Nurse or Registered Practical NurseProvide exceptional patient care as outlined in their care plans, supporting patients with all applicable medical needsMeets the safety needs of the client and uses equipment safely and properlyAssists clients with transfers, ambulation, and exercises as requiredObserve the patients’ medical health as well as their physical and mental responsesFunctions within the limits of own experience and knowledge, and practices safely and competently within the job descriptionCompletes records and documentation accurately and thoroughlycorrectly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure clients health and well-beingRequirementsAn asset if you own vehicle and have a valid driver’s licence (not required)Negative TB Test completed within the last yearCNO RegistrationCOVID Vaccination Receipts subject to an exemption pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights CodeValid Criminal Record Check – must be completed within the last year.Valid CPR/First Aid certificationValid WHMIS2015 certification from the last yearMust be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in EnglishAbility to identify and report client care concerns to Care Coordinators when needed.Having previous Paediatric nursing experience is an assetHaving previous Complex Care experience an assetBenefitsCompetitive rates of payRPN: $30-$37/hourRN: $40-$47/hourPPE provided24/7 Nursing OversightEducational Training OpportunitiesEmployee Recognition ProgramHealth and Wellness Program
