Job DescriptionWe are currently recruiting for a Non Ferrous Receiver with experience for our Hamilton location. Under the supervision of the Site Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the general maintenance of the premises.
- Receive, sort and organize different types of ferrous metals
- Cover the scale and weigh in trucks when required using the RECY system to properly weigh and track the material
- Do general maintenance of the premises
- Ensure the equipment in good condition
- Provide excellent customer service to clients on site
- Operate the Fork lift as required
- Work with a safety oriented mindset
- Good Computer Skills
- Experience in operating a crane
- Experience in metal recycling considered an asset
- Ability to work indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions
- Good physical fitness
- Ability to work as a team
Additional Information
Additional Information:
- Hourly pay for this position is to start at CAD22/hr, plus overtime after 44 hours.
- Permanent and full-time position;
- 44 hours per week, including some rotating weekend work
- Opportunity for overtime;
