With a strong reputation for innovation and technical excellence in precision engineering, this company offers competitive wages, including shift premiums. </p><p><br /></p><p>If you are looking for a straight afternoon shift working for a leading company in the industry, this may be the role for you.</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>ADVANTAGES</strong></p><ul><li>Consistent Afternoon Shift 1:30pm - 10pm (Monday to Friday) </li><li>Competitive hourly wage $38-$39/hr to start</li><li>+$1 Afternoon premium</li><li>Long-term, stable employment with growth potential</li><li>Great benefits- RRSP matching, medical, and dental</li><li>Employee assistance program</li><li>Vacation</li><li>Tuition Reimbursement</li><li>Pension Plan</li><li>Years of service recognition</li><li>Company events, great culture, safety culture, and working conditions</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><ul><li>Conduct preventive maintenance, repairs, and lubrication on machines and equipment</li><li>Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems</li><li>Weld, repair, and fabricate equipment or machinery components</li><li>Assemble and install machinery using hand and power tools</li><li>Align and position machines and equipment using precision measuring tools</li><li>Connect, test, and evaluate the mechanical operation of production equipment</li><li>Read and interpret blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures</li><li>Fabricate or dismantle parts, equipment, and machines using cutting torches or other tools</li><li>Move and position heavy machinery using hoists, rollers, and lift trucks</li><li>Build or repair machine foundations using appropriate tools and materials</li><li>Maintain inventory and organize storage of parts, tools, and equipment</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>REQUIREMENTS</strong></p><p><br /></p><ul><li>Red seal in Millwright required</li><li>Completion of post-secondary program in Millwright is preferred</li><li>3-5 years of experience as a millwright in an industrial environment required</li><li>Proficient in welding, cutting, and fabricating metal components</li><li>Experienced with fluid and air-powered systems, including maintenance and repair</li><li>Skilled in diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical and electrical issues</li><li>Strong problem-solving abilities in fast-paced industrial environments</li><li>Capable of assembling, aligning, and installing heavy machinery and equipment</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>#INDSTRIVEON</strong></p><p><strong>#LI-SR</strong></p><p><br /></p></p></p>
