Role Description
This is a contract, in-person role for a Microsoft Trainer based in Milton, on the Wilfrid Laurier University campus. The Microsoft Trainer will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective training sessions to users on Microsoft Excel. This role is responsible for distributing prepared course materials, facilitating group training, and providing support to participants to ensure they fully understand the tools. The Trainer will deliver material introducing students to basic Excel tools leading to advanced calculation and data manipulation. Calculations include application tools for formula analysis, What-If Analysis and Excel Models build up, and Data Manipulation through lookup statements, linking Excel workbooks and discovering developer tab.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- In-depth knowledge of Pivot Tables, formulas, data reporting
- Experience in Training and Teaching, with strong presentation and instructional skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt training methods to accommodate diverse learning styles
- Familiarity with designing course materials and curriculum development is an asset
- Relevant certifications in Microsoft products or training methodologies are advantageous
- Technological background or extensive experience in computing is an asset
