Profile:
Join the Methods Engineering team supporting the production of the De Havilland DHC Aircrafts. This role offers hands-on experience in manufacturing support, technical documentation, and digital data preparation. Ideal for students seeking real-world exposure to aerospace manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret 2D and 3D engineering drawings to support manufacturing
  • Create work instructions and annotated workbooks using CAD tools
  • Digitize legacy hand-drawn drawings using scanning equipment and verify against existing tools/parts
  • Use 2D and 3D CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA) for data preparation
  • Handle multiple tasks with proper prioritization in a production environment
  • Communicate with other departments to clarify technical details and resolve issues

Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in a Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering program
  • Understanding of engineering drawings
  • Experience in CAD software. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
