Knowledge And Experience
310T Truck and Coach Technician certificate
Experience in conventional or custom transit vehicle maintenance is ideal
Preference given to candidates with a valid inspector's license
Preference given to candidates with a commercial driver's license
Skills
Ability to work independently
Strong time management skills
Well-developed communication skills (both written and verbal)
Key Accountabilities
Fleet Maintenance & Vehicle Diagnostics and Repair
Perform standard maintenance repairs
Maintain accurate records
Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic tests on transit vehicles
Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues
Compliance and Safety
Ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures
Adhere to Provincial and Municipal laws and regulations governing the location
Provide updates on maintenance progress and potential issues
Prioritize safety in all aspects of work
Parts Management and Inventory
Procure necessary parts for repairs and maintenance
Manage and organize parts inventory
Track parts usage and reorder as needed
Schedule: Sunday to Thursday - 2 pm to 10:30 pm
Wage & Benefits
$43 per hour
Vacation: 3 weeks
Benefits: 85/15 Split (Sunlife)
Allowance for tools ($700), shoes ($150), and coats ($100)
