Job Description: Material Handler
Job Title: Material Handler $19 – $22/hr plus benefits
Reporting Line: Reports to Plant Manager
Purpose of the Position: Manages inventory, handles materials, and ensures the smooth flow of production materials and finished products.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct daily inventory and participate in quarterly inventory counts.
- Receive materials, inspect for accuracy and quality, and manage storage.
- Operate lift trucks and ensure materials are delivered to the appropriate departments.
Skills and Abilities:
- Effective communication in English and basic mathematical skills.
- Valid lift truck license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds/23 kilograms.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience in material handling or a related field is a plus.
Working Conditions: Warehouse environment; involves lifting, bending, and operating lift trucks.
