Job Summary
Reporting to the Production Manager, Manufacturing technicians in the production department are responsible for carrying out manufacturing related tasks to ensure Tilray products are packaged and ready for shipping in a timely fashion.
Vacancy Status: This posting is an existing position
Shift Structure: 4 x 10 hour days with the availability to work overtime or additional days as needed.
Duties & Responsibilities
Sort and inspect cannabis material for downstream processes.
Operate pouching machines to produce pouches and assist in preparing finished goods for shipment.
Providing support to the packer machine by processing re-work and labelling and organizing finished cartons in storage boxes
Support the pre-roll maker machines by feeding product to the machine, loading filters, and picking trays for rejects
Support the filter making machine by loading finished trays of filters into storage boxes and tracking consumption and output
Assist in cleaning various equipment for product changeover
Provide assistance with packaging edible products as needed.

Self-Managed team player with a positive attitude exhibiting cooperation, communication, flexibility and initiative to acquire functional skills
Strong documentation practices, including accurate and timely recordkeeping, and proficiency using electronic devices and software for data capture and retrieval.
Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn and operate complex production machinery.
Excellent time management skills when there are competing deadlines
Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Other Requirements
Ability to lift 25 lbs on a regular basis
This role requires intermittent standing for extended periods, walking, reaching, bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or or crawling,
Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment to include but not limited to: Safety boots, safety goggles, bump cap, production uniform, lab coat, surgical mask, surgical gloves
Comfortable working in dusty environments and unaffected by the scent of cannabis.
Pay Rate: $18.10 per hour
