The Manager, Operations Standards, FHS, US & Canada role, is responsible managing operational brand standards for the Firehouse Subs Brand in the US & Canada.

The position has a direct impact in the Operational Strategy and insights to guide execution priorities. You will help solve complex business problems that will have a major impact on the Firehouse Subs restaurants.


  • Ensure brand standards are consistently updated, communicated, and delivered throughout the system
  • Manages multiple Ops Services vendors, including Steritech, The Print Authority & Synq3 
  • Conducts analysis on Firehouse Subs US&C 3rd party audit data to find key insights, and recommends solutions for improvement across the system
  • Presents & shares Ops Standards insights and recommended actions to Firehouse Subs Leadership to drive sustainable guest metrics improvement for the Brand 
  • Manages the roll out of standards related to new brand strategies, tools, and concepts.
  • Identifies and recommends new operational improvement solutions to address gaps in Operations processes to drive Franchisee Profitability 
  • Supports the field team and franchisees with operations related inquiries 
  • Supports the marketing team with new product and platform launches 
  • Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; ideally in Business Management, or Hospitality, MBA preferred
  • 5+ years prior work experience in Operations or Project Management, previous QSR or restaurant experience an asset
  • Ability to distill large amounts of data and extract insights 
  • Advanced knowledge and experience using Microsoft Excel (including VBA)
  • Proficient in other Microsoft excel tools (PowerPoint, Word and Outlook) 
  • Self-starter with personal time management skills are essential to deliver assigned projects 
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Skilled in managing multiple priorities and projects; skilled in interacting effectively under difficult circumstances and tight deadlines; skilled in analyzing relevant data and supporting decision making
