Havas Media has an immediate position available for a Manager in the Toronto office.
This is an exciting opportunity to work for a dynamic integrated marketing company on a key Global account. As a Manager, you are responsible for the oversight of the day-to-day team and media assignments at HAVAS MEDIA. You are expected to understand your clients’ line of business & comfortable building client relationships, experience developing junior team members, ensure best practices, exemplify collaboration across the agency, and a passion for seeking out new opportunities for clients. You organize/manage workflow; mentor junior team members to fulfil all media planning, analysis, and scheduling requests.

HAVAS MEDIA is a dynamic integrated marketing company. We provide clients with meaningful, strategic leadership which spans media planning and buying, data analysis and activation, creative content development, direct response, performance marketing, local and multi-local communications, mobile marketing and social media expertise, working closely with Havas Group’s specialized pure player agencies.
Who You Are
· Strong or intermediate knowledge of digital and social campaign management, including the preparation, reviewing and reporting of media performance
· Strong verbal and written communication skills, specifically the ability to prepare clear and concise client-ready documents.
· Organized with a strong attention to detail , focused on accuracy
· Strong expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
· Intermediate knowledge of research tools and media tools such as ComScore and Vividata
Responsibilities
· Build communication/channel frameworks and lead the end to end planning and execution of media plans as it pertains to agreed strategy.
· Work collaboratively with specialized teams (SEM, social, programmatic, broadcast) to integrate channel expertise where required for your client tasks and campaigns.
· Lead the issuance of schedules, documentation, financials that are required to keep projects/deliverables/campaigns on track, on schedule and within budget for the client.
· Manage and coach team members in all areas of media planning and execution to achieve both client goals and agency goals.
· Ability to assess requests/tasks to prioritize and complete/delegate to meet deliverable timelines.
· Quality control of all components of media campaigns actioned by the planning team and specialized teams.
· Ensure all media activations are reviewed for cost analysis and if needed, negotiated for best value for your clients.
· Oversee all financial processes actioned by the planning team and finance team.
Qualifications
· 4+ years’ experience in 360 media planning (print, broadcast, digital, OOH, social, SEM)
· 1-2 years’ experience managing direct reports including annual evaluations
· Strong understanding of industry tools and resources to develop research, insights and ideas for all media initiatives.
· Excellent client acumen and relationship building skills
· Self-starter with a leadership character
