MANAGER - FIRE DETECTION

Troy Life & Fire Safety Ltd. is looking for an experienced Manager - Fire Detection to join their Kingston, ON team! In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing branch administrative personnel, service sales staff, and field technicians. Responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring maximum efficiency in scheduling, managing, and work performed by all service technicians


• Promoting every phase of the Troy Service operation to all customer contacts


• Keeping current in the area of product features, legislation, and regulations concerning service requirements


• Developing service billings, service expense and service gross margin forecasts


• Responsible for the preparation of business reports for the service department, as required by the manager


• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures as well as legislative regulations/requirements of operations staff


• Oversee all health & Safety and ensure that all training requirements have been met


• Maintain and manage branch budget


• Performance and development management of direct reports


• Other supervisory and operations tasks as required

Qualifications

• Post secondary education in business or fire protection detection


• 8 - 10 years' experience in Fire Alarm System Industry ideal


• Service management experience in a technical field


• CFAA certification preferred


• Knowledge of applicable codes and requirements


• Excellent written and oral communication skills


• Good Computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)


• Demonstrated leadership ability, fostering a positive work environment


• Strong financial, operational, and staff management skills

Pay

$95,000 - $100,000/annum CAD
