Founded in 1995, Safari Zoo Camp is an immersive, hands‑on wildlife education program where campers learn about animal care, conservation, and the natural world in a safe, supportive environment. Located at Jungle Cat World Wildlife Park, the camp offers unique opportunities to work alongside experienced staff, participate in daily animal routines, and build confidence through interactive learning. Staff members play a key role in mentoring campers, fostering curiosity, and helping create unforgettable, meaningful experiences with animals and nature.
We are looking for individuals 18 years of age or older who:
- Enjoy working with youths;
- Dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment;
- Have an interest in wildlife and some experience with animal care (e.g., pets);
- Environmentally conscious;
- Fun and engaging, but still mature and responsible;
- Can provide a Police Vulnerable Sector Check;
- First Aid and CPR (Level C) certified;
- Lifeguard certification is an asset.
