Maintenance – Refrigeration Operator

• Responsible for safe, efficient operation of the ammonia refrigeration system.
• Document several readings (temperatures, pressures, ammonia compressor statistics) multiple times, daily. Maintain clear communication with Chief Refrigeration Operator to report abnormalities.
• Work closely with other maintenance technicians to support production processes and attend radio calls for machine issues.
• Work as a team with other maintenance technicians to maintain plant machinery during non-production hours (preventive & corrective maintenance tasks).
• Able to work with CMMS to complete workorders and provide detailed reports.
• Able to read and understand equipment schematics.
• Work in a continuous improvement environment including personal growth.
• Experience in a food plant is a plus but not mandatory.
• Work a rotating continental shift, (two weeks days: 6am to 6pm, two weeks nights: 6pm to 6am). You work 7 out of every 14 days!

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $35.50-$37.50 per hour

Experience:

• Industrial Refrigeration: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Refrigeration Operator B or 3rd Class Engineer (required)
